The irreverent original play adaptation of the comedy novel, the show chronicles the madcap adventures of a boy, Patrick, growing up as the ward of the sister of his dead father. Patrick’s Auntie Mame is a flamboyant, exuberant woman, who hosts frequent parties with eclectic, bohemian guests. Patrick is quickly introduced to his aunt's free-spirited and eccentric lifestyle. Mame's life motto is "Life is a banquet, and most poor sons-of-bitches are starving to death!"
